We're a couple miles north east of Akeley on County Road 23. When arriving
into Akeley on State Highway 64 coming from Motley, you will stop at first stop sign
(CurtisInn Restaurant on right,
T & M Express gas station on left).
Turn right onto State Highway 34
(it's also still State Highway 64, they merge for a mile) and follow to outskirts of town
(approximately 1 mile).
You will see a sign that says State Highway 64 to Bemidji,
turn left (north).
Drive about a mile OVER the lake
(make sure you see water on both sides) and turn
right onto gravel
County Road 23.
We're
less than a mile on the right.
(If you can't
see the lake on your right any more, you've gone too far.)
